Had a neighbor do that in `88-`89 right after we moved in.
Come to find out he couldn't pass the vision test for his drivers license.

Pretty cool. Very satisfying going from an overgrown field to a homestead, isn't it? Course, you're never done either. But that's another thing I like - I enjoy always having something to do.

lol I did uncover a few buildings but I knew those were there. Took down one of them so far.

It's about 350 feet from the road. Partially dreading installing a permanent driveway. Could probably build a new barn cheaper.

Yes. I'll do a concrete pad up by the house like 40' wide by 25' deep then gravel everything else. Some quick math it would probably only be about $40k to pour concrete the whole way but I am not a fan of the look.
