MEGA DRIVE 2025

I stopped at that rest stop right there one time and they said it was closed due to their septic not working. I tried going around the building but two worker ladies caught me. So I left the parking lot and pissed right outside the driveway on the side of the road. That was about the last time I ever stopped at a restaurant stop. Side of the road it is.

New Mexico public restrooms are the most disgusting restrooms I've ever seen unless you happen to get there after it was cleaned.

The McDonalds in Gallup used to have a security guard to keep the homeless and drug addicts out but it now has a keypad lock, the restroom was clean for once!

Gallup is a messed up town. When I was growing up in AZ we would hear about the locals passing out and freezing to the sidewalk on a regular basis. 😳

Typical faucet encountered in New Mexico restroom. No photos taken of toilet facilities in order to avoid violating forum rules.PXL_20250309_140101630.jpg

I've traveled NM roads for many years, I recall times seeing people passed out on the side of the road too often. I recall call boxes along the road about every 20 miles or so where you could stop and report a body.

When they started bussing the addicts to fenced in staged areas to get their drunk and drug fix on, less bodies were found on the roadside. Shiprock rock is one of those areas and now you can't get anywhere near Shiprock rock because of the layers of broken glass and other shit.

Having lived there it's got some beautiful areas but overall, no thanks.
