So I live in Corpus Christi texas, a HUGE spot for spring breakers And constant hurricane scares. So this is kind of normal for me. Our local grocer is limiting TP and water to 2 per person. Along with sanitizers and the lot. Lol it’s kinda ridiculous. TP is flying off the shelves but not the food. How you gonna shit on a empty stomach?! Also the baby wipes are gone so I’m gonna have to power wash my sons ass.
I should also prob be worried considering my job is getting on and off ships that come into port cargo’ing petrochemicals and crude oil to the refineries here from other countries, but work goes on for us. No work stoppages here.

The school corporation where I live already announced school will be off from spring break (next week) to April 6th. Last night at 9p they decided to cancel all schools in the district today for reasons... As far as I know there aren't even any suspected cases in the area. Got to love scrambling to find daycare last minute.

It seems to me the schools closing is just going to move the problem to the day care centers, since people still need to go to work.
Well, the ones who can't work from home anyway.

And is 3 weeks (including spring break) really going to level out the curve enough not to swamp hospitals? Honestly 3 months may not be enough... And as soon as the kids go back it will explode if there is community transmission still.
We are lucky. Got a sitter for the morning. My mom is coming down the 2 weeks after spring break to watch the kids. A lot of people don't have that option.

Yeah... this is going to suck for the Wife and I as we both work. My biggest concern right now though... is we are down to 2 rolls of TP. [emoji51]

Costco.com still has TP. Their disclaimer states that due to high demand you may not get it in the usual 2 days. I'll pay the extra $5 to have it shipped if I run out so I dont have to deal the the stupidness of the store.

How do they actually know that the Coronavirus has not already been in the US for many months? Think how many people had flu like symptoms in the last four or five months but didn’t test positive for Influenza or didn’t even go to the doctor. It is entirely possible that those were Coronavirus cases and the people survived just fine.
