Recently bought myself a 2000 Jeep Cherokee, 156,000kms , auto transmission , 4l inline 6. Looking to eventually have 4.5" lift, 33" tires, cutout flares, roof rack , front/rear bumpers, snorkel, re gear it . Reinforce front diff, but I'm sure new things will come up!

Bone Stock no upgrades when I purchased

I've had it for about a week now, I just finished upgrading the sound system, I put 4 5 1/4" speakers in and also a Double Din JVC deck. I still have to pick up a subwoofer to complete the sound system.

Before picture of the speakers that were in it, I didn't get pictures of the door speakers being changed out, but they were the same speakers ,

AFTER.

JVC, tons of colour options, my day is set to purple, and my night settings are red .

That's all I have for now! Will update as things continue to unfold.

The latest bunch of stuff for the Cherokee, did a bit of mechanical work on it tonight ( Rotors/Pads in the front and the rear hatch lift props.. And the mud flaps had to go. )

Before picture , the rotors didn't need to be changed, but now I know that there brand new and 100%, pads def needed replacing.

After picture with the new rotors and pads, gotta love shiny new stuff ..

Not much to take picture of, but new lift props.

Last little bit of tinkering was just getting these mud flaps off, a lot more trouble then expected ! Most of the screws were either stripped or snapped cause they were rusted in, but either way their off now

MORE TO COME 😜

LOL!! Looks just like mine - AWESOME!! Can't wait to see what you do with yours :thumb:

New swaybar, swaybar links and repainted the front skid plate ! Also did the rear shoes, hardware and drums (Pain in the ass!!)

The sway bar on the top is the original XJ swaybar, the one on the bottom is a sway bar out of a ZJ, the only difference between the two is the end pieces that attach to the links. You can see the different bends in the picture .

New swaybar links also from a ZJ to work with the bar.

Having the right tools would have helped majorly In doing the rear brakes, but of course we never had all the right ones lol
