Worst Dad Award - special thanks to Apple

I ask one thing....one SIMPLE thing. Please keep the door to my room CLOSED!!!

See, we have a 3-month old Great Pyrador. 99% potty trained. We also have a geriatric 14yo toy Poodle that is slowly un-potty training. Only carpet in our house is master and upstairs. Stairs are baby-gated and our room has a door! (Shocking, I know.)

So, if you don't know what a Great Pyrador is, well....he's 30lbs and on his way to around 120. Not as lazy and independent as a Great Pyranese but not quite as excitable as a Lab. But he likes to chew....

I digress...kids ignored one request, when I get home, carpet's pee'd on in four places, craps chewed up. Kids are at a friends house.

Here is where I thank Apple while earning worst dad of year award.

Did you know you can remotely lock IPads, iPhones, and the like? You can also erase them!!!! Pretty cool trick.

Great way to teach kids a lesson award.... I want to know how to do that!

Edited (it's in English now)

Turn on find my iphone under settings and iCloud. Then use the find my iphone app. Login using the acct that's on the device you want to control. Then, you can find, lock or erase the device.

It is a great feature! You can input a custom note that shows up on the lock screen. "Should have obeyed" "Should have kept curfew" "if found call 972-xxx-xxxx". etc.
