Woman in Jeep Survives Crash Under a 40,000 lb. Semi

Driver survives after Jeep pinned under semi in Van Buren Township


VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - Miraculously a driver is alive after her Jeep became pinned under a semi truck

It happened on Rawsonville Road just north of Huron River Drive.

Despite being wedged under the semi, rescue crews say the victim was talking to them the whole time. She was air lifted to U of M hospital using Life Flight.

The lieutenant on scene says he had never seen anything like it.

Police also say it took about an hour to get the semi off the Jeep.

Rawsonville Road is closed at this time.

From the looks of the other pictures from the source link, it appears she was more lucky then the Jeep saving her...Very crazy though thanks for sharing Eddie. (I'll continue to steer clear of those big rigs.)
