So I have a sport 2016 thats for the wife. not sure if I want to buy a spare tire/rim just to save up for other parts.

and I dont like mounting the stock rim/tire just doesnt look good.

Anyone running without tire carrier look?

I ran without a spare tire at times. I used the EVO gate plate to clean it up. I only did so when close to the house. I would not recommend it for a daily driver if you will be commuting, unless you strap the spare in the cargo area. Just my 2 cents.

I have been running without a spare for about 3 years, I had the Poison Spyder Tramp Stamp II, then I just recently switched to the Ace Engineering Gatekeeper for the hi-lift mount and rotopac mounts.

Those tail lights are amazing. Pictures don't do them justice.

I have gone thru 2 different tires carriers, could not deal with the noise on the trails. Cleaned up the rear end strapped tire inside cargo best thing I ever did.(Used a bfg all terrain 37/12.50/17 as a spare they run small ,fit perfect. I run trail grapples 37/12.50/17 best tire ever

Is that with the rear seat up?

Good to know, thanks! ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1471782326.891633.jpg This is the only way mine would fit (resting on the rock hard rear seat bar. I'd much rather have it laying down for visibility and to be able to stack stuff on top of it as needed!

I wouldn't run without a spare. My trail guide this weekend hooked a rock in a water hole and pealed the inside of his rim open. He was worried about having to borrow someone else's spare if he lost another tire, but luckily didn't.

Inside is great if you can afford the space. I'm running a rear ACE bumper/carrier. ZERO noise or rattles, but it's heavy as crap (160#). Does give you reverse lights, 3500# rated hitch, and I flush mounted a back up camera and 7 pin trailer connector in the face of it. It also has an available 5 gallon gas can mount.

Waiting for my new Ace engineering stand alone carrier to come in. So I run without a spare for now. I did make custom tub pieces tho :)

I ran without a spare for awhile but only for local trips, longer trips I'd either bolt on the stock carrier or put the spare in the back... I love the look without the spare and it made it easier to wipe the snow off the back..

Custom Delete Plate

I bought this plate off of Ebay believe it or not. The seller custom cut a retro JEEP into it. I placed screen (painted white) behind the openings to keep out debris but still let air flow through.

I've ran both ways and prefer the look with the spare.
