Windrock April 14 Or 15

My father is in town and I'm looking to take him out in my jeep. He has never been with me and I'd like to take him to Windrock. My only hesitation is I have never been to Windrock. Is anyone available one of those days that would like to join my father and myself? Or if you think I would be fine just going and getting a map and stay in on the easy trails.

I took my son to Windrock on spring break and rented a side by side for some fun and to scout it out. I really want to go on the pre run myself in May. The trails are marked pretty good and there are plenty of gravel roads.
If you are not that far I would go regardless if no one is available. Check with someone at the General Store and they will help put you on the right trails. Pam really was a lot of help for us. Get a map and go enjoy your jeep!

Like KYJeff said, lots of great trails. They range from simple dirt roads to extreme rock crawling.

Grab a map and head out. If you get the chance, ride up to the ridge line where the large wind mills are at. The view is awesome.

You'll be fine with a map and sticking to the easier stuff. If you would like any suggestions, I'll be happy to point you toward some trails.

Thank you all for the input. I'll be going for sure and have been waiting for the chance to purchase the map there as I've heard they are good. Any advice on a trail guide would be greatly appreciated. Just waiting to go out and have some fun and show my dad the jeep.

Just a heads up, this weekend is the spring jamboree, and there will be lots and lots of side by sides and 4 wheelers.
