winch power cutoff

so just installed a winch, but as i was googling, i came across several places selling a power cutoff for winches. Is that something that I need? Why would i need it? And would it be a good idea to wire it to an AUX switch?

LOL - if you don't have them already, oil catch cans, Patagonia tires and auxiliary battery deletes are all the rage on social media too.

Not for nothing I've got a set of 35" Patagonia 02's on my Jeep. Lol. That said I didn't but them because of social media. They are quiet and perform well at everything I've put them through so far.

Glad to hear you’re happy with what you chose to buy. I personally don’t know anyone who’s been able to balance them or get them to wear evenly and from what I have personally seen, they just flat out suck on the trail.

Know nothing about them, however, now the subject of ridicule. As stated further up the thread; as always it's your jeep do as you please, but if not what I recommend then, well....

LOL - because sharing what one has personally seen and even backs it up with proof somehow = "ridicule".

God forbid anyone tries to help others out and if at all possible, helps them not waste their money on things they don't need.
