Ok so who ever the guy was that put the only stupid bloody plastic box under a JK needs to be taken out in a field and Shot!!!! stupid Evap Box, crushed it this weekend on a trail and stuffed up ANOTHER!!!! Steering damper And Jeep South Africa has no stock.

it is kind of strange that after years of keeping the evap under the hood, they suddenly decide to put it under the jeep and in a place where it is exposed. sure, they've added a nice skid to newer models but still, it does have to make you wonder what they were thinking.

bummer that you're in south africa because here in the states, a replacement is only $75. certianly, not enough for me to worry about but, i would imagine that it costs a bit more for you. the good news is that you really don't need it to keep your jeep running and unless you have inspections, i might just leave it off until a need arises to have it back on. you will not do any damage to your jeep by leaving it off.

HA HA HA Yup everyting in Africa is more expensive then the rest of the world. Next year when I go to Vegas I am gonna bring a Dynatrac Prorock 44 back with me as hand luggage The day you guys sort out all your natural dessaster up and down the west coast I will be moving that way for sure

Consider if you're living on the West Coast and the big tsunami hits, you can get on your board and ride it all the way to Vegas.:yup:
