Why must Non-Jeep Owners..

at the beginning of your conversation about your brand new Jeep that you adore ALWAYS seem to say..."you know, they are known for rolling??" Or "I had a buddy/sister/brother/uncle/whatever....that flipped theirs! I won't own one!" :banghead:

Seriously....

I've learned to say "Really? Sorry to hear that? Were they ok?...How did it happen?"

To which the response has usually been jacking around or ice related...etc.

I bite my tongue but want to say "Jeeps don't JUST roll...they need help of SOME sort in doing so" Hello.

I admit...it does cross my mind as this is my first one...and i DO realize under the right circumstances it can happen to ANYONE but I also know there are limits and what its NOT made to do...

Oh, I like to think I have common sense too! :)

Sorry. Had to vent.

Yeah I get that a lot as well. I also get " They arnt reliable at all" and Im sitting there thinking... everything that has broken on my jeep has been my fault cus ive been wheeling it you know. She gets ridden hard and put away wet. I have had no issues with it at all. That and I also find truck people thinking they can follow a jeep around (and I dont mean truck as in like Chase 12 either I mean normal truck).

This is what happened to the last truck that tried to follow me down a trail. ( 2012 F-150 on 35s)

I guess my Point to go along with your vent. People just do NOT understand Jeeps they dont know them.

Haha I remember that post. The only thing I've heard was aren't you afraid to roll it. I answer yes.
