Where to look for a used D44 front?

I will be starting my build in a couple months...One of the options I'm looking at is getting a used D44 front axle so I can run 37's. If can't find one I will end up going with 35's. Can anyone give me some ideas where to look when the time comes...I watch the forums...craigslist...and the like. Any place I'm missing?

It bites having a 10K budget coming and NEEDING a 20K budget :(

I would contact some of the shops in your general area as they might have a take off from a 60 swap.

Go to jeep. You can grab a rubi Axle fully loaded anywhere from 1800-2300 based on area. A friend of mine bought a set for 3500.

I will give you mine and even pay shipping. Just buy a PR44 and ill trade you straight up! Haha.

This is a killer deal if your willing to travel a bit. It would be worth it to road trip and pay the gas.

Oh those I can find here locally...the bigger problem is finding a Dana44 for the front. Mine, like your's, has a 44 in the back but a D30 in the front. If I tried to get a PR44 it would eat over half of my 10K budget:grayno:
