Where did your Jeep take You this Week?

Went to Carson City last weekend and ran Prison Hill, part of the Pony Express trail and a couple of secret trails. Tested out the new upgrades and was super happy how it performed.

The new articulation on the rocks was mind blowing. Prison Hill has a lot of opportunity to get flexy.

Pony Express was awesome, the coilovers and long arms smoothed out the washboards and chop amazingly well. Got no pictures, other than this… was too busy smiling and going fast.

Jesus, your articulation is insane with the new coilovers / lift. Definite improvement.

Is it noticeably better on washboards / going fast? Coilovers and long arms have been on my list forever… I’ve read a thousand threads on pros and cons, but curious to hear your thoughts since your just switched over.

That looks awesome! Also, these pictures helped snap my 2yo son right out of a 45 minute temper tantrum over his breakfast lol

Thanks, Tom. Yeah, it truly is a night and day difference. I hit 54mph at my fastest and the ride was very comfortable. Was way better than I was expecting.

Wow! That’s awesome Mike Can’t wait to see it in person.

Wow, great feedback, Mike. That’s a bit quicker than we were rolling out in the AZ wash at new years! By about 30mph!
Well, that trip had really bad SxS chop, this part of the trail isn’t hammered that bad. This was more like bad washboards and rocky sections. I am eager to try that SxS chop though and I have no doubt it’ll handle it but probably not at that speed. IDK

Fair assessment. I definitely plan to run longer arms and C/Os at some point. Understanding the jeep won’t become an ultra 4 rig instantly, I imagine it definitely still unlocks some more fun levels.
