When is to late to run the rubicon

I'm a LOSER
So trying to figure out a rubicon trip and was wondering when is to late to run the rubicon trail was thinking of running in September is that to late ?

September is fine, still plenty warm up there and almost no chance at snow. Usually there's not much snow in the area until mid-November or beyond.
 
I heard its supposed to be an el nino this winter. Not sure if that means that rain and snow will come early, or if its just a wetter winter, but may be something to consider.
 
We have run it the past two Octobers and snow hit right after near the end of October. We will be running it again near the beginning of October.
 
Good question. My life will be crazier than usual through September, but October should be "normal." Might have to think about an October trip.
