Caught the Bug
Bought my white Jeep on trade in for a gorgeous Sarge Green Ecodiesel JLUR about a year ago. I loved my green Jeep but it was having all sorts of problems so after just 6 months I traded it in for my current white Jeep. I could not be happier with this Jeep, came stock with 35’s and a factory 1.5” lift.
I first replaced the front plastic bumper with an aluminum Rockhard4x4 mid length bumper and I LOVE it! At the same time I added a Warn Evo 8S winch up front. I also added differential protection right away, Purple Cranium diff guards up front and in back (have on the rear diff of my Powerwagon also). I also have a rear hitch skid plate on to protect the spare tire and rear plastic bumper (to a degree).
Then I wheeled it all over the Southern California desert for a few months, then did a 5 day southern Utah and Moab trip. After lots of scraping I installed some underbody protection. ASFIR aluminum engine and transmission skid and MORE aluminum t-case skid. With skids on I decided to add fifteen52 traverse bronze wheels (4.75” BS) and 37” KM3’s to get that extra inch of diff clearance!
The last thing I added was a couple KC lights installed on the front bumper. Right now they are just for looks because I haven’t hooked up the electrical harness yet…. I know it’s easy but my electrical skills are lacking and I just haven’t gotten to it yet. They look cool though
I may add a real lift at some point but I’ll wheel it like this for a while. I’ll add upgraded steering and ball joints when the lift happens. For now I absolutely LOVE the look and performance. At Redlands Jeep the day I bought my white Jeep. My green Ecodiesel with issues is right next to it in this pic
Wheelin it stock in the Old Dale mining district trails near Joshua Tree NP.
First run with the new Rockhard4x4 bumper at Cougar Buttes (my favorite playground)

Running up Radical Hill after descending Red Cone
Wheeler lake obstacle (Colorado)
Underbody protection
