Caught the Bug
Perhaps not so much a question, but looking for affirmation. Currently running 315 70 17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on stock Sport wheels 17 x 7.5 with wheel spacers to prevent any rubbing with the LCAs. If I go to a 17 x 9 wheel with -12 backspacing, that should be enough to clear everything without using the spacers, eh?

I think you're confusing offset with back spacing. 6.25" of back spacing is what a factory wheel has and what you want is a new wheel with no more than 5.5" of back spacing. That will clear things without spacers.

You are most correct Sir. Went back and looked at the specs and back spacing is 4.50 for the wheel described above. Appreciate the clarification. And a good day to you Sir.
