What is this for?

My tj came with a 4" procomp short arm lift, it has a drop bracket for the pan hard bar, but it uses two more arms going to the frame on the other side, I'm not sure the purpose for them, it's causing some binding on my steering damper.ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1358373072.776072.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1358373096.587903.jpg

Well, being that your pic is chopped off, it's hard to say for sure but, it looks like a sector shaft or steering box brace.
 
I'll try to get a better pic tomorrow, it attaches to the track bar mount on the drivers side it two spots at attaches to the frame on the passenger side.

Sounds like it might be a track bar frame brace.
 
Here are some better pics, I think it is a track bar mount brace, I've never seen one used, the bracket is only 2 to 3" dropped so it just seemed odd, that and it's causing some binding issues.
