What do you think this Jeep is worth?

My sister is looking to buy a Jeep and I stumbled on this one locally. All I know about it is what is written in the add. What would you pay for this? It looks to me that he really doesn't know what he has because I didn't think EVO made a rear bumper mounted tire carrier. In stock condition KBB has the value at $32k in perfect condition.

Something is not right with that add. I tried to buy that Jeep earlier this year and the owner stopped replying to my inquiries. I can't find anywhere in Eddie's SEMA coverage where ORE built or showcased that Jeep at SEMA.

That said, $32K KBB stock, roughly $15K in upgrades less 50% would put it at $39,500. It seems fairly priced to me.

I've been texting him. He says that he is in Florida and will be back in AZ next week. Said that ORE did the modifications. But just through the terrible pictures it doesn't look like a long arm kit.. We will see

I would tell him you want close up pics of interior, engine, undercarriage, and suspension. Then see if the pictures jive with anything in the origninal ad. Especially look for paint color in the background, etc. Also, if he gets defensive, etc, not a good sign. Any true seller would have no problem taking those pics.

My brother almost got scammed on renting an apt a few years back. The scammer copied a legitimate apt ad from somewhere on the internet and then lowered the price about 500 per month. My brother was seriously close to giving a down payment but something didn't feel right he said. He ended up typing in the address for more research and found the original ad. Turns out the real ad was active, so he called the right seller and told them what was going on.

It's a Teraflex long arm kit from the pictures that I saw previously with probably plush ride coils and King shocks. The bumper and tire carrier look like Poison Spyder to me. If your sister could pick it up for $37K or $38K, that would be a pretty good deal.

The front bumper has the EVO logo cut in it.........

That looks like a version of steadfast91's jeep that was in the EVO booth but definitely not it. Plus the rear does not look like the evo pro bumper but the pictures don't show it too well so I could be wrong

I was thinking that $36-$38 wouldn't be a bad deal. It might be easier to talk him down as he doesn't know what he has really.

35k is a sold number. If you do meet up with the person ask for the ORE build invoice he must of it.

Good luck..Hope it works out. 35k would be fair. Documentation of build and invoices should all be there...especially if he is claiming it was in SEMA. I just sold a 2013 Mustang RTR that was in 2013 SEMA. Had a folder full of invoices and online build documentation. To be honest I haven't had any luck buying here in AZ. Unrealistic valuations.. Last 2 vehicles I bought private party in CA and drove back to AZ. Good luck.

I couldn't agree more on the prices of vehicles here in AZ... Way high

I'm always skeptical with ads in which the text doesn't match the pictures and would be even more skeptical if others on here have had trouble with that same ad. Suspension in question, not mud grapplers, etc? Just kinda makes you wonder. But that being said, he just might not know what he has. Rig looks pretty clean from the pictures and price is not outrageous. Just make good choices and don't put yourself in a bad position.
