Yes. Stayed in Big Pine to avoid crowds and it was great even though they only have 3 restaurants. Bishop had more people and options and passing through Mammoth Lakes was chaos with traffic and too many people.

I love that drive. Wise choice about staying in big pine to avoid the crowd. Mammoth is nice but the people can and will drive you nuts.
