Thought we would share some photos of our summer vacation that occurred last week... A 8 day, 7 night trip through the Grand Canyon from Lee's Ferry to Whitmore Wash a total of 188 miles of Colorado River floating and Whitewater rapids running. No there's no Jeeps in these photos (thou we did drive the JKUR to get there) but the story relates to the 'Wayalife' and even the JK Experience and since we really enjoyed the trip, we hope you will too through these few photos.....
The main requirement of the trip..WayaLife wear, (including a shirt we found in the marina store that we couldn't pass up), a bottle of honey (emptied after 7 nights) and of course the wife!
Some of the smaller whitewater rapids that we went down, that's the other boat in our group coming down after us.
Just floating the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
Waterfall just gushing out of the rock wall face creating a garden oasis.
The blue waters of the Little Colorado River.
The beauty and tranquility of the whole thing is hard to explain.
Deer Creek falls at rivers edge, nearly 100 feet tall.
Hike we went on above Deer Creek fall to more beauty.
This is the view from the bottom looking up to where Eddie and Mel were sitting eating lunch in the 'Wild West JK Experience'.
The last day of the trip, a helicopter ride out of the canyon after 8 days and 188 miles to the Bar 10 ranch (JKE Wild West stayover) for a shower, lunch and a plane ride back to Page AZ.
We can now check that one off the bucket list!!!!!
