Hey everyone! I'm Tony. I just moved back home from Whidbey Island, WA and it's been quite a year with my Jeep(s)! Here's some of the story.
I bought a TJ in 2012 in Jacksonville, FL
A couple months later I had it lifted at Happy Trails 4x4
A couple hours later
I drove cross country to Washington state and swore I'd never drive a jeep across the country again
After a few months in washington I ended up trading it in for a WRX
But I always knew I'd be back.
Lauren is a 2012 I got in May with only 26k miles. 6 speed, power locks and power windows. AND THE HARDTOP! (My favorite factory option)
After spending 2000 on my TJ's lift (a lot of labor costs) I spent 1700 bucks on a 2.5" Teraflex (I know, I know...) with Fox performance 2.0 shocks, front sway bars disconnects, Rock Krawler front and rear adjustable Tracbars, RE control arm relocation kit, and a set of 285/75r17 Nitto Terra Grapplers that could hopefully get me through the year. With some pizzas we installed this one in my driveway never having lifted a vehicle before.
(Fast forward 6000 miles)
This picture was taken right before I put my JK decals on.
And then...
I was basically pitted by a guy pulling an illegal u-turn. It took two full months of fighting with the insurance to get it back. Now she looks like this!
I got 35x12.5r17 ko2's with AEV wheels off Craigslist and I'm in love.
Can't wait to share stories on the forum with everyone. Hopefully I'll see some of you around.
✌
