Warped Yellow Tops

Has anyone ever seen a battery warp this bad on the top?
Is it due to the Vegas heat?
Close proximity to the motor? (not much closer than any other battery would be)
Shitty batteries?

Both of them are doing it. No failures or anything, just looks odd... :idontknow:

My guess would be due to heat. How old are they? I'd see if you can get them warranteed.

Not very old at all, were probably bought in April. I'd have to dig up the receipt. Maybe have been under the hood for ~3,000 miles.
