I’ve been fighting this for a while. When on the highway between about 75 and 80 mph I get a slight vibration. I’ve had it in the shop for this but they weren’t able to replicate it (I’m guessing they didn’t go fast enough. I’m fairly certain it’s in the drive line somewhere but I can’t quite nail it down, short of pulling out a driveshaft (something I plan to try soon). While under the vehicle today I was inspecting the drive shaft and it looks good. U joints look to be in good shape and the rzeppa joint also looks good. There’s some slight seepage it looks like in the boot but there are no tears. However when physically shaking the driveshaft I can make some slight up/down movement in the boot area. I makes a slight clunk sound, but nothing crazy. Is this normal? I know there’s a sliding shaft in there but I’m not sure if it should have some play like that. Here’s a pic so you can see see the seepage, which is about where i can move the driveshaft.
