This thingy connects your phone to your car's data port via bluetooth. Looks interesting and isn't too expensive, it tells you when your driving habits suck and interprets some "check engine" codes. Jeeps appear to be supported so I just ordered one.

Elm327 Bluetooth is 14.99$ off amazon and works with droid, elm327 wifi is about $35 off amazon and works with iPhone.

Oh neat, havent heard of the Elm327. Looks pretty cool! Now I'll probably wish I had ordered that instead. :)
 
rough breaking, speeding and rapid acceleration trackers... for rock krawlers haha, i feel like most of us will fail the braking and acceleration tests :clap2:
 
I use it cause I can check and clear engine codes with out having to worry about vin locking the device! Some of my buddies use it to monitor their auto tranny temp while wheeling
