U Joints

So my U joints on my front axle need to be replaced so I called 4 Wheel Parts to get an estimate. I usually like this place, but they estimate $300 + for the replace and install....I'm thinking about doing this myself, but not too confident because I've never done it before.

There easy to do plus I would look at the shops 4 wheel parts sucks

Really it's not that bad of a price. $100 an hour or more and it's probably 2.5 hours labor to do it.

4 Wheel Parts is worse than the Post Office. $100/hr to do the work a monkey could do, no thanks. I would buy some new joints and DIY, it's good to know how when you need it. Good to keep a spare as well.
