Our jeep has morphed a lot since we've bought it, and long before we became members here. So I'll show what we've done and where we're going.
This is shortly after we bought it. I had BF Goodrich mud terrains in 285/50/17 ( or something to that size), pizza cutters. And added our own Oscar Mike decals.

At Jeep Beach two years ago we purchased a Warn elite front bumper and Mile Marker winch. At this point we had installed a Rock Krawler 1.75" budget boost and Bilstein shocks for a loft up to 3.5".

There's also the new rims and super swampers from a craigslist purchase. The grille was also plastidipped.

Next on the list was some new side steps, since a gentleman decided to turn into our jeep because he just had to have his Starbucks and missed the turn. We also added a Body Armor rear bumper and tire carrier, AEV snorkel and Smittybilt SRC rocker guards.

Sorry, I was messing with the pictures.

And this was today's project. Rock Krawler stock mod with adjustable lowers and bumpstops. I had already installed the brake lines a few weeks ago.

This is front all done, minus doing the final measurements and adjustments to the trackbar. Took less than 3 hours to do. I'll finish the rear tomorrow and then have the rear trackbar bracket welded on Monday.

Total lift so far up front measured out to be 3". I'm guessing it'll settle to around 2.5-2.75".

Installing rear springs, trackbar bracket and bumpstops.

Apparently I have hit something hard on the driver side lower shock mount. Just needed a little grinding.

Centered the front axle, torqued everything down to spec, adjusted the steering wheel and lastly set toe-in. She's good to go!!

Netted 3" of lift total, as measured between spring perches. Now I'm going to need some bigger tires lol.

Looks good. How does it drive?

Thanks. It drives perfectly fine. I set everything per the instructions as far a control arm and trackbar lengths. No wandering or flighty steering. I'll see if it all holds up over the next week or so.

Thanks guys. Now that I've gotten a chance to drive on these shitty roads around here, first impressions are that it actually feels softer than my stock springs with rubber spacers. The ride feels awesome to me, but I have no other jk with other springs to compare it to. Rock Krawler also includes plastic spacers for their sway bar discos that eliminate the annoying rattling from my previous ones (which I took care of by adding my own spacers).

After my Father's Day fiasco where I busted an axle u-joint, I was able to trail fix my jeep and limp it home. It's been a while but I have finally finished installing a set of Yukon chromoly axle shafts up front. The stock ones are still salvageable, so I'll keep them just in case.

Added some new hood wranglers too.

Changing the build a little bit. I've decided to keep the jeep as relatively light as possible, to help with daily commuting and over all drive-ability. Sold the body armor rear bumper and tire carrier, and replaced it with the EVO shackle mounts. I ground down most of the welds on the frame and cross brace to give it a smoother surface, before hitting it with paint.

Im going to mount the spare tire in the cargo area for when we go on long trips or off-roading. I'll ise something like the poison spyder tire strap to rig something up.

I hit the frame with some yellow paint to accent the "EVO" cutout, but I was running out of paint and didn't feel like going to the store. I'll pick done more up later today and finish it though for a better coating.

Just waiting on the license plate relocation bracket now.

Looks great! :clap2: I recently pulled the stock bumper and am running the same d-ring mounts. I like the paint accent and will copy when I make my rear bumper/frame cover.

Thanks. Hopefully this month I'll be able to order the expedition one basic dx bumper from Northridge, and sell the Warn elite bumper. Slowly it's getting there though.

Finally sold the front bumper. I wanted to go as minimal as possible with the new set-up. Ended up going with the Olympic winch recovery kit, basically just a recessed winch mount with a face plate and shackle mounts. I re-trimmed the front fenders to compliment the stubby set-up.

Other than that, just been chasing a gremlin that makes the jeep sputter at idle and hesitate a bit under throttle while driving. It did this for a few days before it finally threw a code saying low voltage battery. Local auto parts store tested the battery and told me it wouldn't hold a charge. So I replaced the Interstate battery with an Optima yellow top. $235 later, it's still doing it. I replaced the plugs and wires about 20k miles ago. Going to test the coil pack tomorrow and check fuel pressure as well, just in case.

Here's a few pics.
