Trektops

Alright I started this thread as a response to JKRays last update but I didn't want to hijack the thread :p I'm super excited to find out you can get trek tops for 2 doors. I have never seen them o_O I've been checking them out and it looks really easy to install! I just have a few questions about them.

1 is, are they solid enough to use permanently or is it a seasonal thing?

2, does it leak any worse than the stock soft top?

And finally, The sides and back are built around a bikini top rather than the folding arm that extends to the back.. How do they connect to the top piece?

oh hell.. I'm sorry I just woke up and didn't realize I asked this in the Wite-Up's. Feel free to move it :D

I would love to answer your questions but I still have to find them out for my self but I'm sure it will hold up to most all weather elements and shouldn't leak. I plan on keeping mine on all year and I know a number of people that do including Eddie (WOL).

The back windows connect with zippers and Velcro.

I love this top it is very quiet and tight. It has been raining down here the last couple of days and no leaks. Just rember when you install the top lay everything out in the direct sun for a couple of hours. And two sets of hands are better than one during the first install because it is so tight. Now that it has been on a month or so it is fairly easy zipping the windows in and out. I can have the windows out in 5 min and the same for putting them back in. This top has no bows to fold back like the oem top. It has 2 support bars one snaps in over the driver and passenger seats to keep rain from puddling and one at the back window. This is a awsome top and worth every penny. My buddies say it cost to much but when I see their safari tops going down the hwy they look like they have a dome top and they are flapping because they fit so loose.

I love it man! Definitely on my list

I love mine. It is a 4 door but it has been through several down pours and up and down the highway with no problems and no leaks.
