I would definitely put one in. I believe I installed a flex-a-lite got at Quadretec. Very inexpensive. After my tranny took a shit which was expensive!

You may want to confirm. If you're still running stock gears a new transmission cooler won't help.

Try using 4 low instead of 4 high. In my experience, in the latter situation, the transmission seems to be hunting more frequently to find the right gear, which may mean it’s working harder and hotter. I got a “hot oil” warning (AT overheating) in a situation you describe. After that I installed a Crown cooler and I use 4 low more, and haven’t had any issues since.

^ Same here. This happened to us this summer on a steep hill. 4 low fixed it.

Try installing the B&M Aux cooler. Seems to have helped me. Also depending on the year of your jeep. 4:88 might not be sufficient for 37”
