Does anyone run these wheels or know anyone that does? Im looking at getting a set, but im really indecisive.antifreezegreen1.jpg
 
So it's basically like a rockmonster but with a big ass ring welded on the lip? It's my understanding that at low tire pressures the internal double bead lock style wheels can still spin the wheel in the tire (e.g. they don't really lock the tire).

Aside from that though, the welded rings seem like another issue. With a wheel like an ATX Slab, if the ring gets that bad, you just buy a new ring. I would think with that welded ring you would have to buy a whole new wheel.

Thanks for your input. I will be buying these without the rock ring so im not really that worried about that part. I may purchase them later on. I dont do the extreme rock crawling i just like to get out and have fun. I wanted a cheap wheel im not afraid to bash up and at 150 bucks a wheel i wont want to cry everytime my wheel contacts a rock. Im sure thed first time that one of the stud bends and i cant get the nut off im sure i will be disappointed that i didnt buy the ring.
 
I didn't see the price. That's pretty inexpensive for a beadlock. I actually love the look of Rockmonsters but have stayed clear because of what I've heard about spinning the wheel. Maybe these are different and hopefully someone who has run them will chime in.
 
Everybody is gonna bash me for wanting these because they are a recentered Hummer wheel but they are only gonna be on the jeep when i plan on running a trail not gonna be on doing 80 or 90 down a freeway.
 
No bashing necessary. You asked an honest question, you should get honest answers. Now, if you asked about putting a Hummer grill on a Jeep I might feel differently. :cheesy:
