Quick and easy area is Butcher Jones and Sycamore Creek in the East Valley. Large part are non-trial. Go up and down the sides of wash beds. Also, Butcher Jones you drive to the back side of Sagauro Lake and can drive up to the water. Good place to hangout with friends, firepit, camp, offroad.. Only 45min away. Cave Creek/Bartlett Lake has some trails. I prefer trails but these are great for the casual afternoon when people want to come and go as they please.
