I noticed a small green light and what looks like a button on the face of the mirror. The manual doesn't mention what it is. Does anyone have an idea? Thank you!

Auto dimming rear view mirror, as mentioned above. My Tacoma has one as well.

Mine in my Tacoma works great. I never notice lights shining in my rear view mirror.... so I guess that means it's doing its job haha. The best feature is homelink integration; no longer do you need to carry a garage door opener, you can program it to the buttons. Although now that I have my own house, of course it doesn't have a garage door opener so that feature is useless to me now :crazyeyes:
