Trade an 8k warn for stock wheels and tires

Hey everyone. A guy wants to trade me my factory 18" Sahara wheels and tires for an old warn 8k winch that apparently works. what do you guys think of that trade? Also is an 8k winch even going to be big enough for my JKU on 35's?

A 10k winch would be better for a jku, but the 8k will work. How old is it?

Its hard to say by the pictures, im going to look at it hopefully this weekend. Im asking $425 for my stock wheels and tires, so im hoping the winch is worth the $425

If it's in good shape, then maybe a decent deal. Steel or synthetic rope? I'll assume steel. How old is it? Do you have a model #?

Make sure you can test it. Probably good to take it apart and inspect it. If you don't know what to look for, find a shop or friend that can look at it.

You can get a new Engo for the price you're selling the wheels for, or a decent down payment on a new Warn.

You can get get a smittybilt RX8 for $299 and I've had and heard nothing but good things

Better to get a new one than used. I can see getting a used bumper or armor, but not something with moving parts.
