To make your world easier, pick up a tie rod (fork) separator if your not planning on reusing it.

Hammer works too. Some taps on the knuckle and the TREs should just drop out.

I agree, I started there. My OEM was so corroded in place it took a fork to get it off. Hours of heat, hammers and swearing. Two hits with a fork and it was off. But it will trash the boot if you plan on keeping it. The joys of Michigan salt.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Kept the wheels on while I was installing my fusion 4x4 tierod and it went pretty smoothly:wings:
