Tank or no tank

Are air tanks worth it ? looking to add a air set up.

What type of air tank?

Powertank? OBA tank? And what are your plans? Running air tools or just to fill tires?

I ran a 2 gallon air tank on my last Jeep with the ViAir 450c compressor. The tank was mounted between the engine and radiator.It was great and allowed me to run air tools.

I can run air tools with my Powerplant compressor but it doesn't have the capacity the air tank had on my last setup. I would've run one on this Jeep but, with the exception of mounting one INSIDE the Jeep, there aren't many places for tanks in the 12+ Jeeps.

OBA tank , fill tires mainly . Getting a ARB twin .didn't know if a tank makes that much of a difference .

If you don't plan on running air tools, don't bother with a tank. Go with a decent compressor and call it a day.

5 gal tank here, wouldnt have it any other way.

If you're getting the ARB twin, don't think you will need the tank for just airing up tires. The twin is pretty fast without a tank.

I run a 20# power tank to fill tires. Works awesome!
