Tomorrow I am going to be installing a winch which mean I have to disconnect my battery for a extended period of time. Will I lose my tune or am I just over thinking

Not sure about superchips, but you shouldn't have to disconnect the battery for too long?

You should not lose your tune, it is installed into the computer and taking the battery off for a bit should not impact it.
