SUCKS to Run Errands in the SNOW

While we normally get snow in the winter time, it's usually just enough to be fun for a bit and then it all melts away by the afternoon. Of course, there are occasions when it does come in heavy and sticks around and the last couple of days has been one of them. But, sunny or snowy, things still need to get done and so here are a few shots that we took of us running some errands around town and out in the white stuff. We hope you enjoy :cool:

This is a shot of Camp WAYALIFE on Monday morning. Looks like it's gonna be a snow day.

Tuesday morning wasn't any better for us. Granted, it was far from being the Polar Vortex that some of you are having to deal with but we did get another half a foot of snow or so.

Being that I wasn't feeling up to shoveling out back, today's chores would have to be done with one of our Jeeps up front.

After missing a turn at the last stop light, Tessa said she'd go find someone and ask for directions.

Apparently, we were super close. After going around the corner, she saw where we needed to be.

On the way back, we decided to take some back roads being that the snow was starting to pick up again but I think we would have been better of sticking to pavement.

Sure sucks to have to run errands when it's snowing but, what are ya gonna do. :cool:
 
Beautiful snow and scenery. We only get snow every couple years down here and doesn't last a full day.

Certain parts of town for sure, couple inches though mainly. You can see once you start getting to any more elevation it's definitely much more. I feel like it's snowed pretty good all day yesterday but not much accumulated

Funny how that works. I feel like we normally get missed. Guess it's the other way around this time.

I know right? Take it when you can get it. My co-worker was in Gardnerville yesterday and had like 6-8 inches on his car when he came out of the hospital around noon. I gotta head to truckee tomorrow am, 80 was closed for half the day today. Heard they got buried over the weekend up there

Oh yeah, I saw pics of Tahoe today and they got a ton up there. My infotainment was putting up avalanche warning LOL
 
sucks having to live so far from errands :doh:

looks like too much fun!...until it isn't :thumb:
 
Rough neighborhood you got there, surprised you guys even venture out with the crowds and all. 😂

It was 74 degrees here today. I had the air-condition on. I would welcome some of the white stuff, but looks like you guys are enjoying it for me. Great pics!

We are finally getting our storm that’s been threatening for two days. Jet and Tessa look right at home taking the detour.
