Strange sound

Ok on a cold start on my Jk I hear a light shearing noise coming from somewhere near the front end and then it goes away. Also when I hit the gas I hear the same noise. I'm like wtf was that? Anywho any ideas? Have any of you ever heard that kind of noise before? I thought it was a heat shield loose or something....…

it might be heat shield - look for broken weld, you may have to pry it a bit with a screwdriver to see the break, check all the welds
