Any of you had issues with snow packing between your frame rails? Had a very wet snow this morning. Went out and played for about an hour and came home, bout slid off my driveway... had to back up and like to never got my gear selector (automatic) to move. Finally got it in reverse, fought it back into drive and drove on up to the house. Crawled underneath, the whole underside was packed tight with snow. Thought I read somewhere of others in the northern climates having a plastic piece in the linkage failing. Is it because of this? Thawed it out and it shifts ok now. But I sure had to put a lot of pressure on my shifter to get it to move. Are you all running belly skids from the oil pan to the tranny crossmember to prevent this?
