Apparently there's a void under this window. Going to get my inspection camera out to see how deep the rabbit hole goes. He took off in there as soon as I approached him.

Camera showed a huge void under there but no snake. He came out 3 more times but retreated quickly. But then Mr. FAFO came out too far and we grabbed him. Relocated him to entertain the chipmunks by the woods.

Looks like some kind of garter snake to me. There's so many sub species that the color isn't always as defined. Terrestrial Garter Snake is pretty dull and boring colored.

I could use him. Have a ton of mice under my containers and haven't see a rat snake all year.
