Skylar the JKU

Skylar the jku

New member
Hello Everyone, I am new to this forum so I figured posting my jeep build would be a great way to start to interact with everyone. In this thread I will start out with listing what is already done to the jeep, since I am pretty far into the build already. Then, Ill go over the mods that will be happening in the very near future. I will also continue to post whenever I upgrade the jeep.

So to start off, I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler JKU sport, named Skylar.
So far she has:
3inch Teraflex lift w/shocks and extended brake lines
Teraflex front and rear monster trackbars
35" KO2's on 17" Method wheels
Tera flex front and rear diff covers
ARB air compressor
Evo Rock sliders
Evo rear fascia
Smitty bilt fenders
Cobra CB radio
Teraflex quick disconnects
Rigid light pods
Mopar cold air intake

There is still probably some small things I'm leaving out.

Mods that are coming up very soon are:
Fusion 4x4 tie rod and draglink
C-gussets and control arm skids
Evo inner fender liners
Evo quarter pounder front bumper
Warn winch
Evo protek Skid sysytem

Here are some pics of the jeep

EVO D-rings

Installed the EVO D-rings today. Decided to cut a little off the rear frame to make them sit more flush against the the EVO rear fascia.

Debating on what to do next, maybe C-gussets and CA skids

Update

Haven't posted on my build thread for a while but that doesn't mean I haven't been doing anything to the jeep. I was getting really annoyed of my hood flutter from the stock hood latches so I installed a set of the JL ones. Looks way better and no hood fludder!!

I caved in and upgraded to the 37” KO2’s. To prepare for this I installed the power stop brake kit to compensate for the bigger tires. I’ve been driving on these tires for a few days now and they are amazing, even with my stock gearing and dana 30. I know it’s probably not the best decision in the world to run 37’s on a Dana 30 but I did it anyways. These tires do run small, so that helps out a little. And surprisingly I was able to fit the spare on my stock tire carrier, but I’m still going to upgrade it in the very near future.
