Caught the Bug
In a few hours I will be going to pick up my third jk. Started out with a 10 2 door rubicon, then got a 07 4 door rubi, and now I just picked up a 13 4 door sport.

While I will miss the great features of the rubicon. I never really used them to the fullest. With the sport build, I will eventually throw a pr44 under it. But right now it will remain mildly built.

The plans for the sport include:
Small lift maybe 2-3"
35s on stock wheels to begin with
Stubby stinger with my warn winch from the last jk

I will post up some pics in a little while when I pick her up.

Just got done taking a few things on the old rig. Got my winch, fog lights, brackets, d rings in rear, trailer hitch, grab handles, all my tools out of it, jet performance chip, seat covers. Now off to the dealer for the new one

Oh the small things to mod really make a difference. Blacked out my huge antenna, repainted my old mopar metal steps from the last jk to put on this on til I get sliders.

Nice! I like it! Personally I would skip the truss and put that money towards your pr44 fund :.02:

Congrats on the new jeep..you're going to add another transmission cooler on top of the existing one?
Good list of mods

My 07 transmission would overheat on the trails and I was planning on throwing one on it. Was an 07 rubi 4.10 gears 37" tires. With the new jk being bone stock, I want to get it done right from the start. I didnt know it had a transmission cooler. Maybe I can skip that mod.

Yea I believe they added the tranny coolers in after 2009? I know my 2011 has one so your 13 deff does

In a few weeks I should have my first order ready for some new jeep parts. Going to get the basics out the way first.

-cb radio
-paracord grab handles
-fire extinguisher
-mopar slush floor mats
-HIDs
-rigid duallys
-rugged ridge a pillar switches
-wheel spacers

As others have said, huge difference between the 07-11 and the 12-newer transmissions. The new 5 speed is a solid unit and on the '14s with the EVIC one of the monitors is trans temp and you can beat on it all day and it stays right at 165-170. I have not seen it go over 170 yet.
