Couple of quick picks from our trip today. I will attach more later. Was a Fun day. Very mild trail the route we went but the view was worth it!

Looks like a nice day to run Signal Peak. I haven't been up there in over 4 years....and the weather looks better than my last time up.

looks like a nice pretty clear day. did you start at eagles lake road and take the actual trail up, or did you go up taking the service road off fordyce lake road?

I was surprised when i went up earlier in the year they changed the actual trail! starting from the trail head off eagles lake road after you go up the rocky hill climb you get to the flat part that goes threw little meadows. they cut down trees blocking access to that area and made the trail go straight up rock slabs with off camber switch backs. pretty difficult. I should of taken pictures of it, but as I started out on the new section of trail i exploded my transfer case so i had other problems to deal with.

wondering if anyone has seen or been on the new section?

edit: actually I take that back, its not a new section its been there for a while as a round about way but they filled it in with more rocks.

Definitely nice up there, I was actually up there yesterday as well. A couple of us ran Fordyce to the first water crossing then went back and up to signal peak from the staging area.

We came in from Cisco Grove. We went alone and didn't want to push it. Talked to a few hunters in a Stock Commander and they said the Eagle lakes entrance was pretty difficult but our Rubi should have no problems. Would want to go with a few rigs in case we get into trouble. We would like to go back up. We missed going out to the Rail Road lookout building in the end of the ridge.

We were our Flame Red JKUR going backwards against all of the buggies coming out of Fordyce. Some of the buggies had tires that came up to our windows. Were you one of them?
