I love aviation, especially Warbirds and vintage aircraft. I’ve been fortunate to see some awesome birds and photograph them. Share with us the cool photos you’ve taken. I’ll start with the latest photos I’ve taken. Don’t cheat and post pictures from the internet! Let’s see your photos!

B-25J Mitchell used for low level strafing and skip bombing. Built in 1944, it only served for a few months. It’s at the Spanish Fork airport for the Wings & Wheels airshow this Friday & Saturday

When I was in the Navy I worked on F-14 and FA-18s but there were a lot of pretty cool old fighter jets around they were using for targeting and testing. The F-14 though is still my favorite of the jet fighters with that swing wing. Seeing them flying in in formation and going into a break was always cool to watch.

I work on these, we train the USAF and Navy, especially before deployments....
F-5's Completely New, now 4th gen glass cockpits and more.....

Not so much a war bird but I hear they are launching cruise missiles out the back of C130s these days. This guy buzzed our group on top Flag mountain in Colorado.100807 (1).jpeg100812.jpeg
He was actually below us in the valley so for a second we got to see him coming straight at us. It was wild! He even circled back and dipped his wings then dove back down into the valley.

@NPC 6060⁸42 That qualifies! My son flew Herkybirds when he was stationed in Japan. He has orders to Germany and will be flying C-130s once again

Just landed

Douglas C-47. That were used to drop supplies and paratroopers all over Europe prior to D-Day. You can see its invasion stripes, painted on all Allied aircraft. My grandfather built Douglas C-47s at the Santa Monica plant during WWII

Really love seeing these old birds.

The b17 and p40 were from a local fly in the rest were at a really cool museum in Titusville FL called valiant air command. They have a flying c47 that took part in the d day invasion.

More from the Spanish Fork airshow

PBY Catalina. In my opinion, the most elegant seaplane ever made. With a range of 2,500 miles, it played a crucial role in the Pacific Campaign, spotting Japanese ships, performing long range reconnaissance missions, and rescuing sailors and downed pilots
