Well my computer skills are less than optimal sometimes and it seems I reached the max number off photos with the first submission. So in an effort to get everything out I'll start part 2 of the post. My apologizes to all for the piss poor planning on my end.
Trying to make our way to engineer pass. Got turned around about 200 yards after this photo by snow.
After a few days exploring in Colorado it was time to move on over the plateau via Columbine Pass and head to Moab, UT. We did manage to make a wrong turn somewhere and once we hit pavement we were a bit further south of the Naturita / Nucla area that we had planned. NBD.
Exploring Arches NP.
After a few days in Moab it was time to keep moving. Next stop Grand Canyon.
Oops. Made a stop at Zion.
First night at the Grand Canyon. Starting her first fire wi nothing but a flint.
Woke up to an elk in the campground.
Time to get on the road and find more dirt to explore.
Glen Canyon dam.
Made it to the Tucson, AZ area to see my parent for a couple days. As luck would have it they have a pretty cool trail about a mile from their house.
After that it was San Diego bound. I apologize for the two part post but hope everyone enjoyed one of the best road trips I've ever had.
