ShittyBuilt XRC10 winch trouble

Help! I have a shittybuilt XRC10 on the pumpkin (05 TJR). The winch will free spool and power in but does not power out. Can this be repaired? Is it worth the cost or should I wait until I buy a real winch? How much do I need power out when wheeling? Help me

sounds like one of the Chinese cole hershee knock off solenoids craped on itself. easy cheap fix. get new solenoids from a reputable auto electrician and replace the el-cheapo junk with good old made in the USA quality.

it either has solenoids or a contactor. both are available from warn

Same thing happened to my XRC10 it was the solenoid, mine was under warranty still, I had the replacement in two days.
