shifting Problems Help!!

i have a 98 cherokee xj and recently i have to rev the RPMs high over 3000 usually and let off the gas completely to get it to shift from 1-2. also very first thing in the morning it seems to slip a little when i accelerate then feels really sluggish for about 15-20 seconds. and the other thing i notice is when i am on the freeway and it down shifts it feels like i bounces a little. i am suspecting torque converter but would like some input. i have replaced the TPS, the Crankshaft position sensor, the TCU and all solenoids in Trans. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe a fluid, filter change and use dex/merc 3. Not atf4. Mine kinda hesitates first thing in the morning when it's cold. My torque converter just went out one day with no warning.

it has new fluid and filter actually. I'm not sure what fluid they put in at the shop though, should have found out i suppose.
