Does anyone know how to/ if you can look up old service reports in detail . I'm the second owner of my jeep and just wanna see what's been done and why , only reason I ask is when I bought the jeep it had 26k on it and the dealer had mentioned that the right side had the ball joints replaced

You can ask your service advisor for records. They don't have to, but you could ask. I did that with one of my BMW's and they obliged.

For Ford and Lincoln vehicles you can get an Oasis report from any dealer. It is all the service history in the system. I assume Jeep/Chrysler something similar. Of course the vehicle has to be serviced and repaired at the dealer for it to show up.

Good luck!

What about the carfax would that have that info in there?

Carfax has extremely limited information and our its very easy to keep info from getting on a Carfax report.

My son wrecked his first car twice, both times it was his fault and he was sighted. When we sold the car the buyer wanted a report so we got one. We had already disclosed the wrecks, but it wasn't on the report.

I'm not as stupid as my phone's auto-correct would have you believe.

Chrysler should be able to tell you what dealers it's been serviced at, and each dealer can print out service history.

Were the accidents claimed on your insurance or did you have liability on your sons car? From my understanding, carfax only shows accidents that an insurance claim was written. If the damage was repaired out of pocket, it won't show on carfax.
