Rugged Ridge DRL fender chop light issue

Installed the rugged ridge fender chop lights over the weekend. I installed per instructions for a factory LED Jeep.

There is a message that periodically pops up saying the turn signals are out.

The rugged ridge lights blink at a normal speed, the factory tail lights seem like they are blinking faster, and the blinker indicator on the dash is super fast.

Anyone have experience with this?

Is there a resistor in line with the LED’s? I could see the computer thinking there is a short if so…

It has a fused relay. In the instructions it shows different wire connections for LED vs Halogen.

If you have the taser I would try switching the light type to see if it clears it up before taking it apart again
