Rubicon and beyond - June 2012

My good friend Gary, my wife and I set out on the road last month for California from Savage, MN to explore the Rubicon Trail for the first time. We were joined by my brother Don of Lone Rock, WI and his sons, Kyle of Rocklin, CA & Nick of Lone Rock, WI. Kyle invited some friends along for the adventure and were joined by a random couple near the trailhead making it a total of 7 Jeeps. We spent 3 days on the trail (June 25th - 27th) and had the time of our lives. We are already making plans for another trip next year. Besides the Rubicon, Gary, my wife and I hit some other cool destinations including the Bonneville Salt Flats, Death Valley, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon (south rim), Moab, Pikes Peak and the Royal Gorge Bridge before heading home 2 weeks and 5200 miles later. Absolutely amazing pics. A trip like that is on my bucket list and your post has only made me want to do it more. Thanks for sharing
 
A trip to Australia

G'day mates,

To be blunt when are you comming to Australia??? I'm in keen ready and will quit my job if there is a confliction. :)

A trip to Australia IS on my bucket list. 2 of my brothers have already been there on extended stays and they both had excellent experiences....just makes me want to go more. I will make it happen, it's just a matter of time!
