Replacing shocks

So I'm replacing my shocks on my 4/d Jk.....is it necessary to place jacks under it or can I just take em off?

You can just change em with out taking anything off or putting jack stands under it :thumbup:

Why not rotate tires,as you change shocks?

Eh ended up jacking it up, tires were just rotated
